Ribbon Cutting at Keap Fourth Community Garden in South Williamsburg

Wednesday, June 4 from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
At South 4th Street and Keap, Brooklyn

Join Keap Fourth Community Gardeners, 596 Acres, GreenThumb, the NYC Parks Department and neighbors to cut a real ribbon to open this real new garden. Planned as "open space" for decades under Urban Renewal (though fenced and abandoned) and identified as an organizing opportunity by neighbors through 596 Acres last year, then supported in organizing by the El Puente Green Light District, this new garden is now an official GreenThumb Parks Department site and was aided in its initial build out by the Mayor's Office Gardens for Healthy Communities Program.
